Owner and Club Director, Max Miller, has over 25 years of coaching experience, spanning all levels of play. From youth to collegiate, he shares his passion for volleyball with every athlete he trains.
During his High School coaching years, he led his team to four Final Four appearances, one State Runner-Up finish, and one State Championship. As current head coach of Dublin Coffman, he hopes to bring similar success to the program. In Club, he has led teams to four USAV National Championships, two AAU National Championships, four Runner-Up Finishes at USAV Nationals, and eight Semi-Finalist finishes at USAV Nationals. As a collegiate head coach at UNOH, Coach Miller's philosophy of developing athletes off the court was highlighted by his players' numerous Champions of Character and All-Academic awards.
As a Coach and Club director, Coach Miller has received several impressive awards of recognition:
AVCA Club Director of the Year Finalist | 2020
PrepVolleyball.com Coach of the Year| 2019
OHSAA Central District Coach of the Year | 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010
OHSVCA State Coaches Achievement Award | 2017, 2011
While Coach Miller has seen many successes on the court, he also places emphasis on athletes seeing success off the court:
"We need to mold and shape our athletes into people who will make our community and their families proud; both while playing at Mintonette and the years to follow. Who our athletes are off the court is just as important as the progress we make on the court."
Coach Miller lives in Worthington with his wife, Elle, and three children.
